Holiday Project with Xyron & Crate Paper

Hello there everyone....we have some amazing projects to share with you this month at Xyron.  TONS of how to's to get the Holiday rolling. Thanks to American Crafts for sharing so many holiday goodies with us for these projects!
Today i'm sharing with you a fun gift box idea, that will look so cute under your tree.  It's the perfect size to hold smaller little gifts such as earrings, scratch off tickets, lip sticks...anything small like that.
First you need to gather your supplies.  I used the super cute Bundled Up line and my Xyron goodies.
Step 1 - Gather your goodies.  I'm using 3 different size paper mache boxes, Xyron 3" sticker maker, foam pop dots and 1/4" high tack tape, Art Anthology Fiesta Velvet Paint, Crate Paper Bundled Up and any ink for the edges of your paper.  Paint the boxes with the paint then set aside and let them dry.
Step 2 - Cut your pattern paper 1/4" smaller than your boxes for the sides and tops.
Step 3 - Ink the edges of your papers if you like.
Step 4 - Run your paper through the 3" Xyron sticker maker.
Step 5 -  Center the pattern paper on the lids and sides of your boxes.
Step 6 - Using your 1/4" Xyron High Tack tape adhere the bottom of the boxes to the top of the lids.  This will allow you to stack them, but still keep them as gift boxes so you can place your small gifts inside.  Once that is done now it's time to decorate.
I tied some May Arts ribbon around the boxes to make it look like a gift package.  Using my Xyron 3" sticker maker I ran the numbers "25" through it and placed them along the ribbon.  I then used the foam squares from the Xyron TC Adhesive Kit and popped up the mittens card along with the little snowman image.  I used some Twinery Twine to tie the Merry Christmas around the bow on the top of the gift box.
Now you have a super cute way to give someone a gift, while using it as a home decor piece until Christmas.
Supplies Used -
Xyron - 3" Sticker Maker, 1/4" High Tack Tape & Foam Squares

  1. Love this project, Stacy! It is so cute and the papers from this Crate line are sweet. I always like to see what you're working on. I don't know if you remember this but we were on the Say It With Letters design team in 2011. That was lots of fun for me and I've been following you ever since. Thanks for sharing your talent!
